A Process to Engineer and Manufacture Medium to High Value 3D Products Using Mixed Polymer Recyclate (website)
The project proposes to develop a cost-effective, flexible moulding technology to manufacture high value, complex, recycled polymer products (80-98% mixed waste polymers) with similar or identical mechanical properties to virgin polymer, metal or timber alternatives. The process must be suitable for a wide range of complex products such as flood barriers, temporary walkways, emergency structures and buildings, and marine products.

Polymer REACH (website)
The project aims to develop an e-learning platform and training materials for the European polymer industry to learn and understand how to manage their obligations under REACH.

iPolyCond (website)
The iPolyCond project aims to develop training materials and resources for the benefit of European plastics converters, in order to increase their knowledge base and understanding of conductive plastic materials.

Woody (website)
The WOODY Project aims to develop new composite structures from renewable materials; namely wood derived cellulose fibres and resins obtained from natural raw materials. The related manufacturing processes for advanced composite components such as Nanomaterials will also be explored both as reinforcing fibres and as additives to bring novel, desired functionalities to structural composites.

Natex (website)
The project objective is to develop aligned textiles from natural fibres suitable for use as high strength reinforcing fabrics to produce structural composite parts. It will do so by using bio and oil based thermoplastic and thermoset resins. Aligned natural fibres with improved properties will be combined with thermoplastics and thermosets, increasing the mechanical properties of biocomposites. Structural applications: transport, agricultural machinery, shipbuilding and energy.

BioStruct (website)
The objective of BioStruct is to create the next generation of enhanced Wood Plastic Composites (eWPC) through economically and environmentally friendly processing routes. The industrial applications and demonstrations are targeting four sectors: automotive, constructions, packaging and electronics.

EUCertPlast (website)
The project aims to develop a European certification scheme for post-consumer plastics recycling in order to achieve the recycling of more material and fulfill REACH requirements for recyclers. This will ultimately lead to an increase in the tractability, competitiveness and transparency of recyclates.

EUPlastVoltage (website)
The objective of this project is to prepare and launch a voluntary long-term agreement on energy efficiency for the European plastics converting industry.
