EU Project Manager - Job Opportunity


European Plastics Converters (EuPC) is looking for an EU Projects Manager to join our EU Projects team in Brussels, Belgium. The EU Projects Manager will lead and assist in EuPC’s involvement in Erasmus + and Horizon Europe innovation projects.



Tasks:

  • Managing the participation of EuPC as a partner on the Erasmus + project, by leading the work concentrated around digitalisation activities in the plastics sector, identification of necessary skills and competences for reducing CO2 emissions, and advancing plastics recycling activities in cooperation with major European universities;

  • Participating in various consortium meetings and events, including traveling around Europe;

  • Preparing project deliverables and technical reports;

  • Creating different types of surveys and analysing results, with an ability to transform all gathered information into reports;

  • Supporting ongoing Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects by drafting deliverables, articles, and social media posts, and periodically updating websites, banners, and brochures;

  • Identifying relevant and competitive project proposals for future innovation activities;

  • Reporting the progress to senior members of the EU projects team and EuPC management.


Qualifications and experience:

  • At least Bachelor degree, preferably Master degree in a relevant field;

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as EU R&D Project Manager or Assistant;

  • Knowledge of Erasmus +, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe programs;

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of organisation;

  • Ability to work independently but also as a part of a team;

  • Strong presentation and writing skills;

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, knowledge of InDesign and Wix is a plus);

  • Hands-on mentality with a positive attitude and willingness to tackle new types of assignment;

  • Based in Brussels, or willingness to move to Brussels;

  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or German would be an asset.


Terms of Contract:

  • Full-time unlimited contract under the Belgium law

  • Starting date is September/October 2023
