Voting open for the Best Polymer Producers Awards – Circularity as key criterion

Don’t miss the chance to rate your polymer suppliers

The Polymers for Europe Alliance has launched the 2020 voting for the Best Polymer Producers for Europe Awards. To reflect the efforts of the plastics industry to become more and more circular, the fifth edition of the awards will include for the first time circularity as a standalone criterion for the rating process.

All users of polymers in Europe can access this online customer satisfaction survey - free of charge and in strict confidence - and rate their suppliers' performances during the past 12 months. The voting tool is open for three months until the 22nd May 2020 here: www.polymercomplyeurope.eu/pce-services.

“The Best Polymer Producers Awards were created in 2016 to re-establish a constructive dialogue and good communication between suppliers and users of polymers in Europe. The fact that we are now organising the fifth edition with a growing number of voters every year is a clear indicator of the awards’ success." Ron Marsh, Chairman of the Polymers for Europe Alliance

The rating tool is easy to understand, extremely user-friendly and provided in several languages in order to reach as many polymer users in Europe as possible. In case you do not yet have an account on the Polymers for Europe Alliance, you can register for free here: www.polymercomplyeurope.eu/node/210/register to get your exclusive access to the rating tool.

How does the Awards voting work?

Once you have accessed the rating tool, you can choose your suppliers in 11 different polymer type categories: PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PET, PVC, PS & EPS, PC, ABS, EVA, and Specialty Polymers. Once selected, you can then rate them according to the 5 criteria Delivery Reliability, Polymer Quality, Communication, Innovation, and Circularity.

Based on the average of the incoming ratings, the best European polymer suppliers per polymer type will be awarded. Furthermore, an overarching award on Circularity, covering all polymer types, will be given away.

Awards Ceremony during EuPC Gala Dinner

The winners will be exclusively announced at the Awards Ceremony that will take place during the Gala Dinner of the EuPC (European Plastics Converters) Annual Meeting in Brussels on the 11th June 2020.

About Polymers for Europe Alliance

The Alliance was initiated by the European Plastics Converters association (EuPC) during its General Assembly in May 2015. It is an online, confidential information platform open to all parties who have an interest in the competitive conversion of polymers in Europe. Its objectives are to provide factual public information on the status of the polymer supply situation in Europe and to re-establish a constructive dialogue with the supply base. In 2016, the Alliance also initiated the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe which are now organised on an annual basis. In this Europe-wide online customers’ satisfaction survey all users of polymers in Europe can rate their best suppliers of the year.
